Only 10 mintues a day to create calmness
Yes, that’s right I said only 10 minutes!!!
Setting aside 10 minutes a day to calm your mind, let go of your thoughts and turn your attention within will reap many benefits for your mind, body and spirit. If the word meditation scares you to death… and you image a levitating yogi, sitting peacefully in lotus position for endless hours don’t worry. There’s a meditation practice out there for EVERYONE including you.
Meditation works on many different levels from calming your central nervous system, strengthening your immune system, reducing stress and anxiety, and my favourite your become at peace with yourself, your awareness heightens, and you let go and start to let life flow….
To begin all you have to do it find a peaceful place either at home, beach, or park, have a nice straight spine, close your eyes and start to turn your awareness within and to your breathe. Inhale through your nose for 4 counts, and then exhale through your nose for 4 counts, gradually you can extent the breath to whatever is comfortable for you.
